Autumn. The perfect time of year to make sure your home has the curb appeal it needs to attract home buyers!  To get you started, here is a short list to make sure you warm up the buyers while the outdoor temperatures get colder.  Give them some incentive to think your home is the perfect one to move into before the snow comes!

Put the rake to work – and clean up your yard and get rid of the fallen leaves.  Take a good look at the garden and clear out any plants that do not add to the curb appeal.  Make sure any sidewalks, paths or driveway is tidy.

Add some seasonal colour – and purchase a few fall plants & pumpkins and pop some colour on your front step! Spending a bit of time on the outside will motivate buyers make the call to see the inside as well!

Clean your windows – on the outside as well as the inside.  A clean window makes a great impression on buyers.  You may not notice the build-up that slowly accumulated over the summer months, but buyers will notice it!  Make them sparkle and enjoy the view!

Turn on the heat – before the days really get chilly, check the furnace to see that it is working properly and efficiently. You will want the air smelling fresh when someone walks through the door on a cold day!

Wood-burning stoves – should be checked & professionally cleaned before each season used.
